EDMOND, Okla. (AP) -- Attorney General Drew Edmondson says he's planning to run for re-election next year -- but isn't completely ruling out a race for another office.

Edmondson said during an appearance in Edmond that he has seriously considered running for higher office such as Congress.

But he says he's happy with his current job and decided to stay in Oklahoma rather than become a freshman in Washington DC.
