OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A fire at an apartment complex early Friday killed three people and injured two others, firefighters said.

Firefighters found Tyreek Stevenson, 5, and Leroy Tobler, age unknown, dead in an apartment unit that was engulfed in flames, according to Fire Maj. Brian Stanaland.

Taneisha Stevenson, 7, was taken to a local hospital where she also died and Kameisha Stevenson, 10, was hospitalized in critical condition, Stanaland said.

The children's mother, Lakenya Stevenson, 28, injured her leg when she jumped from a window of the second-floor apartment.

The fire was reported at 1:10 a.m. at Pine Ridge Apartments in northwest Oklahoma City.

"We found flames shooting out of one apartment, and the breezeway had already caught fire," Stanaland said.

"And there was fire shooting out of a living room window."

The cause of the fire has not been determined, but it does not appear suspicious, Stanaland said.

Damage was estimated at $125,000.

While firefighters were battling that blaze, a second fire was reported at a condominium complex in north Oklahoma City, Stanaland said.

That fire, started by food left cooking on a stove, was contained to one apartment and there were no injuries.
