A plan to build a toll bridge over the Arkansas River faces a lot of opposition. A new News on 6, Tulsa World-Oklahoma poll shows attitudes aren't changing.
Out of the 500 registered voters surveyed, 61-percent disapprove of the bridge proposal. Only 23-percent approve.
The bridge would connect 121st and Yale in Tulsa to 131st and Yale on the other side of the river. Opponents of the bridge sued to stop the project, but a judge threw out their lawsuit. The group is planning to appeal.
You can get more details on this Oklahoma poll in Friday’s edition of the Tulsa World.
