Water and freezing temperatures causing problems in Tulsa. A water main break early Monday morning created a dangerous spot for drivers near 56th and Sheridan.
Water on the roads quickly turned to ice with the below freezing temperatures. No one was injured in one accident, but officers did shut down the southbound lanes to help avoid more accidents.
City officials say a change in temperature likely caused another water main break that flooded an apartment complex Sunday and cut off water to nearby businesses near 23rd and Jackson.
The water was about a foot deep in some areas. Workers say the ground may have shifted snapping the16-inch water line.
