TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is asking the public for help in finding a driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run accident at Henryetta.
Troopers say Timothy Muskgrove of Dustin was killed in the accident sometime between 10 Monday night and the early morning hours of Tuesday.
His body was found about 7 Tuesday morning on the southbound ramp to the Indian Nation Turnpike from eastbound Interstate 40.
OHP Lieutenant Stewart Meyer says Muskgrove was probably hit by a tractor-trailer rig and the driver may not have realized he or she hit a person. Meyer says the driver apparently continued southbound on the turnpike.
The O-P asking for anyone with information about the accident to contact the patrol's headquarters in Tulsa at 918-627-0440.
