A float commemorating Oklahoma was part of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade this year.

The float called "Oklahoma Rising" honors the state's upcoming 100-year anniversary in 2007.

Those riding in the parade included actress Kristin Chenoweth from Broken Arrow, baseball greats Johnny Bench and Bobby Murcer, Olympic gymnast Shannon Miller and former OU coach Barry Switzer.
