Enrollment in public schools in Oklahoma is up. The state says enrollment has reached a record high this year.

There are 634,000 students in Oklahoma public schools. Thatâ€™s up about 5,000 from a year ago.

Tulsa has the largest district, with more than 41,000 students.

Officials attribute the increase in large part to more students in early childhood programs.
