STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- A former Oklahoma State University employee is going to prison for three years for embezzling from the university's geography department.

Bonnie Leann Jones of Perkins has admitted taking more than 89-thousand dollars from the school and using the money to buy a car, pay her credit card and make donations to her church.

Jones was a senior staff assistant and had worked in the geography department for six years when she was fired last December.
