It's an alter call one well-known Tulsa pastor won't soon forget.

Victory Christian Center's Pastor Billy Joe Daugherty had just invited church goers to come forward for prayer Sunday at the Mabee Center when a man motioned for him. Daugherty said as he approached the man, he was punched in the face.

The man went after Daugherty again, but others in the congregation restrained him. Despite a bloody wound, Daugherty returned to the stage before a doctor took him to a clinic for stitches.

Daugherty said he didn't know the man and wonâ€™t press charges.
