OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) State narcotics agents intercept a cocaine shipment near El Reno.
Mark Woodward -- a spokesman for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs -- says about 30 kilograms of cocaine was found in a tractor-trailer on Interstate 40 near El Reno about 5 PM Monday.
Woodward says that during a routine traffic stop, agents assigned to a highway interdiction team released drug-sniffing dogs around the truck. He says after a dog indicated a find, agents searched the vehicle and found bundles of cocaine hidden in the trailer section.
Woodward says it was mostly likely a cross-country shipment that wasn't destined for Oklahoma.
He says the cocaine has a street value of about $600,000.
There was no information provided about the driver or where he was taken into custody.
