OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Two state senators were honored with the Oklahoma State School Board Association's 2005 Legislative Award.
Senator Nancy Riley of Tulsa and Senator Johnnie Crutchfield of Ardmore were presented with the award Saturday during the association's State Legislative Network/Delegation Assembly.
Riley taught elementary school for 13 years and served as a building delegate to the Tulsa Classroom Teachers' Association.
Crutchfield was a teacher in the Ardmore School District for 18 years. He served as a councilman and mayor of Ardmore before running for the Legislature.
