A water rescue in Jenks Wednesday afternoon.
A 34-year-old woman had to be rescued after she drove her car into Polecat Creek at 101st and Elwood and flipped over. Jenks Police say she crawled out of the car and waited on the bank for help. Because of the terrain, the rescue wasn't easy.
Jenks Police officer Paul Rinkel: "Our difficulty was location, it was almost impossible to get to her and then get her out. That's why we had Tulsa firefighters come out."
Rescue crews lowered a stretcher down the embankment to pull her up.
Her injuries are not life threatening.
