A flu shot mistake in Okmulgee County has the health department concerned.

Officials say vaccine given to 1,500 people was not stored at the right temperature, so the doses may not be fully effective.

The Okmulgee County Health Department will contact folks who received a weakened dose.

Officials want to assure everyone that receiving a weakened dose can not harm you, it just isn't as effective.
