NORMAN, Okla. (AP) The Oklahoma men's golf team wraps up its fall season this weekend at the Carpet Capital Collegiate at The Farm Golf Club in Rocky Face, Georgia.

The tournament will feature one of the strongest fields the Sooners will see this season.

Of the 18 teams scheduled to compete, 15 are rated in the top 50 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index. Eleven others are ranked in the GCAA/Bridgestone Top 25, including consensus Number One Georgia, and the tournament host, second-ranked Georgia Tech.

In their only other fall tournament, the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate held last month, the Sooners finished in 13th place.

In their last trip to the Carpet Capital in 2003, the Sooners placed 15th.
