ADA, Okla. (AP) -- The mother a 16-year-old cheerleader who was abducted at gunpoint and shot to death has filed a lawsuit against the estate of her daughter's killer.

Donna Wooten filed the lawsuit in Pontotoc County District Court against the estate of Jerry Don Savage. Investigators say Savage kidnapped Caitlin Wooten and shot her to death before fatally shooting himself September 23rd.

Defendants include Savage's son, Jarod Savage, and Faye Francis Sliger. Sliger's charged with first-degree murder for allegedly helping Savage kidnap the girl. The petition says that two days before she was killed, Savage transferred nearly all of his assets to his son, Jarod.

Savage and Donna Wooten once dated. Savage was accused of abducting her previously.
