OKMULGEE, Okla. (AP) _ Two men who broke into an Okmulgee house were confronted by an armed man who shot one of the intruders to death, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said.
The other armed suspect ran from the residence and has not been captured, police said Monday.
Authorities are attempted to identify the dead man through fingerprints, OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said.
The shooter, Brian Lenear Currin, 26, of Tulsa is not likely to face charges, she said.
Brown said the home invasion occurred about 11 PM Sunday when two armed men came through the front door and ``shots were exchanged'' between the intruder and Currin, who was in the home.
