OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- According to House Speaker Todd Hiett's quarterly report, he has raised nearly $827,000 for the Republican race for lieutenant governor.

Hiett also has about $664,000 cash on hand.

The Republican from Kellyville says he expects to spend between $1-million and $2-million to succeed Mary Fallin.

Fallin is running for the fifth Congressional District seat.

Hiett says he has received widespread support from business leaders, farmers, teachers and doctors across the state.

He raised about $266,000 for the quarter and had expenditures of about $192,000.

His total contributions include $423,844 transferred from his previous campaign account.
