OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ For the second time in less than two weeks an Oklahoma City police officer has been injured after crashing his patrol car.
The officer's name hasn't been released, but Sergeant Mike Klika says the injuries are not life-threatening.
The accident occurred Sunday night as the officer was responding to a call and swerved to avoid another car on Interstate 240. The patrol car hit a patch of gravel and landed upside down in a drainage ditch.
The crash comes less than two weeks after Sergeant Jonathan Dragus was killed after crashing his patrol car while pursuing a stolen motorcycle.
