Owasso's newest medical center is "topped off." Bailey Medical Center at 10501 North Garnett Road held a traditional "topping off" celebration Thursday afternoon.

They put a tree on top of the final steel beam to go into place, then hoist it to the top and a worker takes the tree off. The tree is then planted on the grounds as a symbol of an injury- free construction job and a positive sign for the future of the building.

The medical center is set to open in 2006.
