MOORE, Okla. (AP) -- A house fire in Moore has left at least one person dead.

Assistant Fire Chief Gary Bird says the fire was reported about 7:15 Tuesday morning by a police officer who saw smoke coming from the home. Bird says the house was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.

Firefighters found one body inside and are still searching for anyone else in the home.

The name of the victim hasn't been released and Bird says investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the blaze.
