LAWTON, Okla. (AP) -- A woman is dead and a Comanche County deputy sheriff injured following a two-car collision in Comanche County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Memorie Gonzalez died in the crash just after 5:15 Sunday afternoon.
Troopers say Deputy Michael Crank was responding to a call when a pickup driven by Gonazalez's husband failed to yield at a yield sign and pulled into the path of Crank's patrol car and was hit in the passenger side.
Crank and Kenneth Gonzalez were treated and released at Comanche County Memorial Hospital.
