MOBILE, Ala. (AP) _ The jury in the Alabama murder trial of an Oklahoma native heard a recorded conversation today in which he admitted killing a woman.
Jeremy Jones from Miami is accused of raping and killing Lisa Nichols in her trailer home in Turnerville, Alabama, then burning her body.
On the tape, Jones says he killed Nichols while high on drugs and that it was like a nightmare and he was in a movie.
Jones is also charged with murder in Georgia and Louisiana. And he's been investigated in the 1999 disappearance of 16 year-olds Ashley Freeman and Lauria Bible in northeastern Oklahoma and the killing of Freeman's parents.
