OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A Nebraska man who was struck by a vehicle while working on the Kilpartrick Turnpike here has died at a Norman hospital, authorities said.

Oscar Guerra, 21, of Lexington, Neb., died at 5:43 p.m. Wednesday at Norman Regional Hospital, hospital spokeswoman Lisa Wood said.

Guerra was one of three men struck by a car early Oct. 12 as they were working in a construction zone on the turnpike west of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Henry Cisneros, 25, of Midland, Mo., remained in serious condition Wednesday at the hospital. Jeremy Holkam, 32, of Oklahoma City was in stable conditions at OU Medical Center.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers arrested Jerry Dudley, 34, at the scene on a complaint of driving under the influence of alcohol. He later was released on $5,500 bail.

Dudley, of Oklahoma City, hasn't been charged, but trooper Pete Norwood said the district attorney could decide to charge him with manslaughter or vehicular homicide.

The workers were injured when a car veered past a barrier and into the work zone, striking Cisneros and eventually hitting Guerra and Holkam.
