An 18-year-old Henryetta man is pleading guilty to charges in the shooting death of his pregnant ex-girlfriend.

Cody James pleaded guilty to murder in the second degree in the death of Rebecca Johnson and manslaughter in the death of her unborn baby.

It was part of a deal with prosecutors. He also pleaded guilty to three counts of assault with intent to kill.

James was 17 when he shot and killed Johnson last July while she sat in a pickup truck with her sister-in-law.

Sentencing is set for December 2nd.
