Another Republican has thrown her hat into the ring in hopes of becoming Tulsa's next mayor.

"I am announcing my candidacy for mayor." Community activist and former vice-chair of Tulsa's County Republican Party, Brigitte Harper says her campaign will focus on economic development, affordable housing, jobs and safety. "I have been at the forefront in fighting for our citizens, promoting economic development is critical to helping create prosperity for the city."

Harper is a real estate broker and counselor who lives in Tulsa. She has two children and two grandchildren.
