BIXBY, Okla. (AP) -- A 42-year-old Broken Arrow man is killed after his car runs through an intersection and slams into a tree, pinning him inside for nearly an hour.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Jeffrey Odell Buckman was pronounced dead at the scene from massive injuries after Thursday's crash.
The patrol says Buckman was eastbound on 151st Street in Bixby when his car ran through an intersection and a private driveway before crashing into a tree.
Buckman was pinned inside his 2004 Ford Mustang for about 50 minutes.
