Tulsa Police are gearing up for a task force to capture the city's serial rapist.
Police continue to ask residents to look at the composite sketches of the man who has attacked seven young women or girls inside their homes in the past 18 months. [Click here to see the composites.]
Detectives have received more than 1,000 tips from on this case. Half of those involved a specific name. Based on that, Tulsa Police have interviewed 200 men and done lab tests on dozens.
Police ask people to be patient. Tulsa Police Captain Tracie Crocker: "They do think we get DNA back in a day. But, we only have one person doing DNA and she's overwhelmed. She runs as many as we can give her, but, it doesn't take a day, it takes weeks."
Tulsa Police remind people to keep their windows locked, especially where children sleep.
They also ask you to watch people walking around in your neighborhood, and don't be afraid to call and report anyone.
