A soldier with Oklahoma ties has died in the war in Iraq.

Sergeant First Class Brandon Sneed was killed Monday in Ramadi during a combat mission. Sneed was one of two soldiers killed when a bomb exploded near his vehicle. He was based at Fort Benning, Georgia, but lived in Norman for a couple of years.

Sneed leaves behind a wife and two sons.
