ENID, Okla. (AP) -- Police and fire officials in Enid are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered in his home following a house fire.

Police say the man's body was found in his north Enid home early Saturday.ody after house fire

Police did not release the man's identity pending notification of relatives.

Enid Fire Department Lieutenant Curtis Howard says firefighters were dispatched to the home because a fire apparently occurred overnight and had gone unnoticed. Howard says it appears to be accidental, and the man may have been overcome by smoke.
