There's more speculation that Oklahoma Congressman Ernest Istook will jump into the 2006 governor's race.

Istook's possible candidacy has become a hot topic on Democratic web sites. A Republican official predicts Istook will announce on Monday that he will run for governor.

Aides say if Istook doesn't run for Congress again, Lieutenant Governor Mary Fallin may toss her hat in the ring for Istook's post. Until then, Fallin is focused on running for re-election for her current job.
