OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Officials with Kerr-McGee say it appears all its major facilities in the Gulf of Mexico are intact with no structural damage from Hurricane Rita.
Kerr-McGee Chief Operating Officer Dave Hager says an initial flyover found no damage. He says workers are returning to the Gulf to further assess facilities and prepare to restart oil production and drilling.
The Oklahoma City-based company had moved all 110 employees and all contractors off the rigs ahead of the hurricane.
