A Tulsa area church is collecting supplies to help with the clean up in Katrina's aftermath.
Carbondale Assembly of God church in west Tulsa and the "Open Doors" ministry will take a truckload of cleaning supplies to New Orleans.
The church says there are large supplies of water, food and clothing in south Louisiana. But there aren't many stores open or stocked with cleaning supplies to help with cleanup.
Associate pastor Rick Shields: "I just think people in the Tulsa area, they're good people, they are generous people and I know they'll want to help and what an opportunity for people to do just what they can do."
Carbondale Assembly of God Church is located at 2135 West 51st Street. It will take donations thru Thursday. The church is open daily 9 AM to 5 PM.
