OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Police on Monday identified a woman whose body was found stashed in the back bedroom of her apartment after her ex-boyfriend held a moving sale at the woman's apartment.
The body of Nancy Daunis, 61, was discovered last week after the woman's landlord told police he became concerned about her welfare when he discovered the ex-boyfriend selling her personal property, police said.
Officers arrived on the scene and found Daunis' body in a bedroom of the apartment.
Norman Baker, 48, was arrested a short time later and booked into the Oklahoma County jail without bond on complaints of murder and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Medical Examiner's Office ruled the death a homicide and the cause of death as asphyxiation, police said.
