MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) -- Police in Muskogee say a person looking for a pet found instead a man's body near the Arkansas River.

Officials say the body was found about 8 Sunday night and is now at the Tulsa Medical Examiner's office for identification and to determine the cause of death.

Police say the body was found near a bridge over the river and State Highway 16.
