An increasing number of people are being robbed in parking lots.
Tulsa Police say the trend has robbers targeting more individuals and fewer businesses. Police believe one woman narrowly missed becoming a robbery victim. She was standing outside her massage business when two men pulled up in the parking lot and tried to get her to approach their car. She started to, but changed her mind after a friend warned her against it.
A few hours later, the same men started banging on her front door. Linda: "You just don't think stuff like that would happen to you, especially at a business."
Tulsa Police say you should beware of anyone approaching you in a parking lot. Suspects sometimes ask seemingly innocent questions such as if they can bum a cigarette, or if you can give them directions.
