ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) _ The Oklahoma RedHawks will remain a Texas Rangers farm club for a few more years.
The Rangers are extending their player development deals with AAA Oklahoma and Class A Bakersfield through the 2010 season.
The RedHawks' affiliation with the Rangers dates to 1983. The RedHawks now compete in the Pacific Coast League.
The Bakersfield Blaze are completing their second season in the Rangers' minor-league system and play in the California League.
