Tulsa’s Union Public Schools has reached a settlement with the family of a 15-year-old student who accused a teacher of having a sexual relationship with him.
The $25,000 settlement stems from a lawsuit the family filed. It claims the district had knowledge of the affair but did nothing to stop it.
Tulsa Police records show the boy filed a complaint in February, but no charges have been filed against the teacher, Paige Cramer.
Union Public Schools suspended Cramer on February 15th. She resigned her position days before an April termination hearing.
