NEW YORK (AP) _ Oklahoma is on the tail end of the top ten in The Associated Press' preseason college football poll.
In the poll unveiled today, the Sooners were Number 10. They finished last season at Number 22 after 8-and-4 season and a win against Oregon in the Holiday Bowl.
Oklahoma was ranked seventh in last year's preseason poll.
Ohio State opens this season as the Number One team in the land. Notre Dame is Number Two, followed by Texas, Auburn and West Virginia.
The rest of the top 10 is Southern California, Florida, L-S-U, California and Oklahoma.
Other Big 12 teams in the Top 25 are Nebraska at Number 20 and Texas Tech at Number 25.
