Ceremony To Mark Anniversary Of Deaths Of Will Rogers, Wiley Post

CLAREMORE, Okla. (AP) -- A ceremony is planned for Tuesday in Claremore on the anniversary of the plane crash that killed Oklahomans Will Rogers and Wiley Post.
A wreath-laying will be held at 9 AM at the tomb of Rogers at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum with Rogers' grand niece Doris Meyer and Cherokee Deputy Chief Joe Grayson taking part.
Rogers and Post died August 15th, 1935, when their plane crashed near Point Barrow, Alaska.
Post is buried in north Oklahoma City.
