TULSA, Okla. (AP) The NCAA has cleared Tulsa's Zach Snider to play this season after transferring from the University of Arkansas.

Snider was granted an Administrative Review Subcommittee waiver that will allow him to play even though he transferred this semester. Players normally have to sit out a year after transferring between Division 1 colleges.

Snider is expected to move to tight end for the Golden Hurricane after playing in 10 games at defensive end for the Razorbacks last season.
