A 7 vehicle accident on the Will Rogers Turnpike near Claremore kills one person and closes part of the turnpike for several hours.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say traffic was slowing down when four semis and three cars rammed into each other just east of Claremore. One of the truck drivers was killed. Two other people have minor injuries.

Eastbound traffic was diverted at the Claremore exit for several hours while debris from the accident was cleaned up.
