The investigation into a double homicide in Lincoln County takes a bizarre twist.

State investigators now believe two men found dead in a Stroud home were related. And they think one died at the hands of the other. It happened in Lincoln County in the small town of Stroud.

State investigators are still trying to figure out what caused Harvey Berry the third to stab his uncle to death, then turn around and kill himself. Neighbors say this is just not the type of scene they usually see from their front porch.

Stroud police officers and state investigators combing a house looking for clues in a murder.

Police say no one had heard from the owner of this home, Michael Parker, for several days. Officers say a friend of Parker's came by the house to check on him, when he smelled a bad odor and called police. When state investigators arrived, they found two bodies one in the backyard, the other inside the house.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation now believes 56-year-old Parker was stabbed to death by his nephew, who had been staying with him. Investigators told us last night neighbors thought well of the victim.

Inspector Jack Dailey, OSBI: "Just that he was a really nice man and elderly gentelman, lived here for many years, nice, would do anything for anybody."

OSBI has identified Harvey Loring Berry, the third as the man who killed his uncle and then himself. They don't believe anyone else was involved.
