Mounds school board taps interim superintendent

MOUNDS, Okla. (AP) _ An educational consultant has been chosen as Mounds Public Schools' interim superintendent.

Jim Gray is a consultant with the Oklahoma State School Boards Association. Gray will serve as long as needed and will help the school board with its search for a permanent superintendent.

Gray, of Grove, will come out of retirement to take the temporary position. His 41 years of experience in education include stints as superintendent of Norman Public Schools and of Topeka, Public Schools in Kansas.
