The OU football squad is set to begin practice this afternoon in Norman and now they are dealing with the loss of two starting players.

OU football coach Bob Stoops will hold a news conference this afternoon to discuss the decision to kick Rhett Bomar and JD Quinn off the team and talk about the future. KOTV.com will have the news conference available for viewing in our eClips section later this afternoon.

Our sister station in Oklahoma City, News 9, caught up with Bomar at the Will Rogers World Airport Wednesday night while he was waiting to pick up someone, but he wouldn't comment on his release from the team.

He and his roommate were dismissed from the team after an investigation revealed the payments they received from a Norman car dealership far exceeded the amount of time they worked.
