POTEAU, Okla. (AP) -- Prosecutors in Le Flore County are dropping a murder charge against a Talihina woman because medical records show she was abused by the victim.

Sandy Crenshaw was charged with first-degree murder in the November shooting death of Kevin Hampton.

But prosecutors say they're dismissing the case in "the best interest of justice."
