TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Four transfers will join the University of Tulsa football team when players report for fall practice on Friday.

Defensive end Zach Snider is transferring to the Golden Hurricane from Arkansas while linebacker Jeph McAlester, receiver Nick Henderson and deep snapper John Warren are transferring from junior colleges.

McAlester played at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, Henderson at Coffeyville Community College and Warren at Glendale Community College.

The three junior college transfers are eligible immediately while Snider will have to sit out a year unless the NCA-A approves a waiver granting immediate eligibility. Snider is transferring to be close to his father who has cancer.
