ARPELAR, Okla. (AP) _ Two men were killed Sunday when their vehicles collided on US Highway 270 in Pittsburg County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 53-year-old Al Smith of McAlester was driving east when his 2004 Ford crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a 2000 Ford driven by 27-year-old Kenny Cook of Shawnee.

Both drivers were killed in the crash two miles west of Arpelar, a small town west of McAlester in Pittsburg County.
