FINE, N.Y. (AP) _ A 10-year-old boy visiting from Oklahoma dies in Fine, New York, after falling 60 feet from a rock ledge.

New York State Police say Nathan L. Peck of Moore was pronounced dead on the scene Friday after he stepped too close to a rock ledge.

Police say he was hiking along a trail at Cathedral Rock in the James F. Dubuar Forest when he slipped.

Nathan was on vacation with his family at the time.

Saint Lawrence County Coroner June Wood has ruled it an accidental death.

Fine is 122 miles northeast of Syracuse.
