SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) -- Pottawatomie County authorities say they'll file three manslaughter charges against a Luther woman in connection with a triple-fatality accident near the town of Asher.
District Attorney Richard Smothermon says Jamie Sigman-Seay is accused of causing a head-on collision that killed Albert James junior, his wife Ramona and her sister Dorothy Baken. The three victims were from Ada.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Sigman-Seay was trying to pass two pickup trucks and a tractor-trailer rig on US Highway 177 when she crashed into the car drive by Albert James.
Troopers say James drove onto the shoulder of the highway in trying to avoid the collision.
