Tulsa Police say this peeping tom prefers teenage boys.

They are looking at five separate cases, three happened within the past month. The homes are near 25th and Sheridan.

As News on 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright explains, the most recent victim gave Tulsa Police the best description of the suspect so far.

Brian and Beth noticed a cinder block underneath their 14-year-old son's window on June 25th and when they stood on it, they could easily see inside. Brian: "You could see everything in the room through the blinds, the desk, the bed and he often falls asleep with the light on, so you could see a lot."

They also noticed someone had taken the latch off the backyard gate so they called police and warned all the neighbors. Beth: â€œThe first few nights after that, I was constantly thinking somebody was standing there looking it. It bothered me."

There have been three cases like this in this area in the past month. The person uses something nearby to help him to see into the window. In a couple of cases, a cinder block was found in the flowerbed, under the window. He's also uses paint buckets and in one case, he removed the light bulbs from the landscape lights.

In a June 24th incident, a 15-year-old boy was sleeping on the couch and woke up to someone looking in through the window.

In a July 23rd case, a dad went outside to smoke and saw a man peeking into his 15-year-old son's window. The dad had found a condom outside that window a few days earlier.

Tulsa Police Sgt. Gary Stansill: "#1, it's a crime, you don't go peeping into windows. But, who is this guy? What's he up to? Is he a sex offender? We just need to know who he is."

Until then, Brian and Beth added motion lights outside their son's room, alarms and dark shades to his window and a padlock on the backyard gate. Beth: "It's very concerning for the safety of our children. Anybody wanting to look who's not welcome. It's very concerning."

There are two similar cases from November of 2004 and December of 2005.

The best description Tulsa Police have is a white male in his 20's, riding a bike, wearing a red, basketball jersey with the number 11 on it.

Parents need to take precautions plus, be on the lookout. A lot of sex offenders peep into windows as a way to get information on their victims and then just wait for an opportunity to do something more.
